Baby’s Day Out at Cameron Village

It was a beautiful weekend in Raleigh so I decided to take baby out to enjoy some sunshine.  We went to Cameron Village to see what was happening.  I love the shops because they are not the typical mall stores.  There are a lot of small business, boutiques, high end thrift shops, books stores, and restaurants. Great restaurants. Did I mention I love to eat more than shop?

Bevello was having a great sidewalk sale on summer clothing.  Dresses originally priced at $100 or higher were $30 and below. Shirts, skirts, handbags, and scarves were $20 and below.  It was baby’s day out so I resisted the urge to buy anything.  It was hard but I didn’t give in to temptation.

Uniquities has great jeans and dresses.  I found a cute tribal print that I admired from afar.

If you are looking for an upscale consignment boutique FIFI’s is the place to go.  This place had some awesome pieces and the prices were not too crazy.  That yellow dress in the window was calling my name but I didn’t answer.

My last stop was Ivy and Leo.  They had a great selection of summer clothes in beautiful bright colors.  I did go in and take a peek at the dresses and the orange one in the window is definitely on my “to get” list.

I spotted a video store on the way back to the car.  I have not seen one of these in a long time.  The only thing around my way is Red Box.  Baby was sound asleep by the time we made it back to the car.  I guess all that window shopping was too much for her.  Plus, the humidity was no joke.  You can see by the glares on my pics, the sun was out in full force.  I almost thought it following us…lol
